The Los Angeles Times captures the construction of the new 6th Street Viaduct in Los Angeles. The original bridge, demolished in 2016, was an iconic landmark in Los Angeles. GPA Consulting captured the bridge's history in an award-winning documentary, "Bridging Los Angeles," and in a companion coffee table book of the same title.
(Read More)In an effort to fend off the extinction of mountain lions and other species that call Los Angeles County home, the California Department of Transportation with the aide of conservationists and private and public funds are on track to break ground on a wildlife bridge over the 101 Freeway in Agoura Hills. The bridge will allow the movement of wildlife that are essentially trapped by human sprawl.
